It was a really close competition and it was a struggle to hold off the next three teams as they all had Ronaldo. However I couldn’t bring myself to pick the Portuguese winker after what he did to England in the World Cup!
I went 5-3-2 in a "George Graham, build it from the back" tactic! Also, I had to be mindful to only take one game at a time, always giving 110% and remembering that football is a game of 2 halves!!
Thanks once again to all concerned! Bring on the new season which will hopefully see King Kev lift the Premiership and FA Cup double, after signing Messer’s Henry, Messi, Ronaldinho and Kaka. I predict that Special K’s new 1-1-8 Formation will set the world of football alight!!!
